High in the mountains of Yemen, wild Sidr trees bloom for only a few weeks each year. The honey their blossoms produce — عسل السدر — has been prized across Arabia for centuries: dark, complex, and never touched by heat or filtration.

Abou Yemen was founded in 2025 to bring that first-grade Sidr honey directly from Yemeni beekeepers to your table. Every batch is raw and unblended, exactly as it leaves the hive.

But Yemen's heritage is more than honey. We also carry traditional Yemeni dresses and men's thobes — hand-finished garments whose embroidery carries stories passed between generations. When you shop with us, you support the families who keep these crafts alive.
